And so already it’s the end of the tax year leading into the start of a very interesting new tax year and plans for 2018 are already underway. Change, change and yet more change but then that’s what we’re good at… we are all change makers.
And at the time of writing there was some history being made that we’ll be implementing and that’s the Scottish Rate of Income TAX (SRIT). The first time in the history of PAYE where there have been different rates applicable in the UK.

Speaking at a several conferences recently its clear that whilst people know they have to do the gender pay gap reporting they don’t really understand the data that has to be extracted, the new definitions it includes and the analysis that has to be undertaken.
